It won’t work on a micro level…

…what the hell makes our Glorious Leader think disarmament is going to work on a macro level?

Obama laid out his vision of a nuclear-free world in a speech in Prague in April, vowing the U.S. would take dramatic steps to lead the way. Eight months later, the administration is locked in internal debate over a top-secret policy blueprint for shrinking the U.S. nuclear arsenal and reducing the role of such weapons in America’s military strategy and foreign policy.

One wonders if he really trusts the Chinese, the Russians or the others to get rid of their nukes too. I know I sure as hell wouldn’t. These damned liberal idealists are going to be the death of us all.

    You are absolutely right.

He hasn’t given up his Secret Service protection detail hoping people will not attack him.

Guess some people are more equal than others and need protection.

But Pistolero, he doesn’t have to do anything. Matter of fact, he won the danged Nobel Peace Prize without even saying much of anything.

He can basically do nothing and all the Right Thinking folks will stroke their beards and talk about what a visionary he is.

I’d call it rope-a-dope, but I doubt that’s the intent. Sure looks like the effect, tho.

In a conversation with an acquaintance, he told me (pre-presidencey) that he had never met a man that showed such utter contempt for the military. He’d run into him in his USAF duties when he was an IL Senator.

Just another continuation of his attempt to destroy our finest military in the world and leave us defenseless to the Chinese and Islamo-Nutters…My tuppence.

Reagan said “Trust, but verify”. Apparently The O doesn’t understand the verify part. Or much else for that matter.

I’d call him a stooge, but that would be unfair to the stooges.

I remember MikeB saying that more than once. Damn near verbatim, too. Looks like all that lefty talk about everyone being equal was just talk, but of course that was no surprise.

He can basically do nothing and all the Right Thinking folks will stroke their beards and talk about what a visionary he is.

Say, isn’t that what has already been going on?

In a conversation with an acquaintance, he told me (pre-presidencey) that he had never met a man that showed such utter contempt for the military.

That doesn’t surprise me, the least little bit.

The O doesn’t understand the verify part. Or much else for that matter.

Yep. I guess he thinks he can just waltz in there and sweet-talk ’em all into giving up their nukes.
