I can draw several conclusions…

…from this:

Apparently Houston Chronicle editorial cartoonist Nick Anderson thinks it’s really no big deal that the Obama administration, under the auspices of the ATF, intentionally let guns go to Mexico and lost track of them after they crossed the border.

Anderson also apparently thinks it’s no big deal that the ATF has pushed outright lies to Congress in an attempt to gin up support for more gun control.

Anderson also apparently thinks it’s no big deal that Gunwalker seems to have been engineered as a scheme to give said lies some truth to gin up support for more gun control.

Anderson also apparently thinks it’s no big deal that one of those walked guns was linked to the shooting death of Border Patrol agent Brian Terry, or that the ATF in Phoenix was scared shitless that the gun used in the Tucson shootings was another of those walked guns.

No, apparently since the guns the ATF told border gun shops to let go to Mexico were supposedly a fraction of the total weaponry, no harm no foul, according to Mr. Anderson.

Also given that government bureaucracies are in love with paperwork, you can easily run the number of seized guns traced to the US from Mexico, as well as the guns involved in “Gunwalker” and see that they’re +/- the same.

I don’t think the Cartels had ANY interest in dealing with US FFLs until the FBI and BATFE offered to pick up the tab.

EXCELLENT point, Weer’d! That’s going up on the front page!
