So begging takes courage, now?

Apparently so. Call me crazy, but I don’t think it takes courage or bravery to go stand in front of Congress and beg for free shit. On the contrary, it takes an incredible lack of dignity and self-esteem. I don’t think Sandra Fluke is a slut and I really don’t think she should tape herself bumpin’ uglies, but I don’t think insurance companies should pay for birth control pills any more than they should pay for elective abortions.

This quote from White House spokesman Jay Carney was full of FAIL, though…

“The fact that our political discourse has become debased in many ways is bad enough,” Carney said. “It is worse when it’s directed at a private citizen who was simply expressing her views.”

Uh-huh. I am sure he was wringing his hands just as hard when the mainstream media dragged Joe the Plumber through the mud, too. /sarcasm

Really? What DO you call a girl who has to have sex every day? She self-decscribed, if you ask me. Rush Limbaugh just had the temerity to use the actual word. Of course, Dracul Pelosi, et al, had to lie, and say Rush demeaned ALL women, in order to protect their useful idiot. And, IMHO, I don’t think she came forward on her own. I think the Dems solicited her, and gave her a script.

With all due respect, Crotalus, I don’t think that having to have sex every day makes anyone a slut. Some folks just have a higher libido and I don’t see anything wrong with that.

But of course Democrats lied. That’s the only way they could make Sandra Fluke look like a sympathetic figure.

And the typical liberal response to your observation would be “Oh, but that’s DIFFERENT!”.

Glenn & Co analysed her claimed expenses for birth control ($1000), and deduced she needs 3 condoms a day from the corner store to cover her needs (so to speak). I have to ask, if she’s screwing three times a day, when the hell does she have time to go to class or study?!? Somebody called in (I forget if it was on Glenn or Rush), that he could get BC pills at Wally-World for $5 a month for his wife.
