A question…

…for Ruth Marcus:

Why is Gabrielle Giffords a better spokesperson for women vis-a-vis things like “assault weapon bans” than, say, Sarah McKinley — or Kendra St. Clair? Granted, Miss St. Clair didn’t have an “assault weapon” either, but I would bet money that she did have a so-called “high-capacity magazine” in that .40-caliber Glock — which, of course, is yet another thing they’re trying to ban. And really, she would be just as credible as former Rep. Giffords, because while Giffords was shot with a pistol with a so-called “high-capacity magazine,” Miss St. Clair defended herself with one of those pistols.

But ultimately, I think we all already know the answer to the question, besides the fact of Giffords’ position on this issue: She is, of course, one of the elites, and so she matters more than the peons in flyover country who defend themselves with guns of all kinds every day — especially to the blow-dried, pampered Washington mediots like Ruth Marcus.

Giffords & Kelly: Bradys, Act II.

I have lost all respect for both of them, now.

Oh yes. SGH would make an even better spokesperson.

And Crotalus, I completely agree with you.

It takes a Chinese immigrant in Waterbury CT to capture the argument for the 2nd amendment, and offers proof that not everyone in Connecticut is a leftard:

Kind of brings a tear to your eye, doesn’t it?

Kelly is using his wife as a supplement to his “retirement” income. Pure and simple. She is his pull toy like James Brady is Sarahs. Disgusting.
